This week’s prompt celebrates books and bookstores, with bibliophilic inspiration from Elvis Costello and my short list of current reads.
Journal prompt: What do you LOVE to read?
I cannot wait to drown myself in books this summer when I finally get back to my favorite bookstore, Waterstones on Gower Street in London. There is nothing quite so glorious as having big thoughts in bookshops, and this four-story Bloomsbury beauty is the absolute best.
If you succumb to this same sensation, here are your questions for this week:
What sort of bookstore brings you to that state?
Where in the store do you start your browsing?
If there were a specialty shop filled with books that interest you, what would be its main sections?
What is the most recent book you read that was deliciously engaging and satisfying?
What book(s) do you most frequently recommend?
